It is easy to use and offers your child reliable protection. Thanks to the diverse setting options, your child is not only safe, but also comfortable. Since the headrest can be adjusted in 12 positions, the child seat that grows with your child can be used up to an age of approx. four years. If your child is old enough, it is also possible to use the child seat facing the direction of travel.
We recommend using the seat facing backwards for as long as possible, as this is the safest option. The child seat that is developed and designed in Germany also offers side protection which is automatically activated. The linear side impact protection, which has been further developed by Cybex, reduces the forces acting in a side collision by approx. 25%. The energy-absorbing shell of the child seat provides additional protection for your child.
Cybex Sirona SX2 i-Size: with 360° rotation mechanism
The 360° rotation mechanism simplifies the handling of the child seat in everyday life. With it, the seat on the base can be turned into any position. You can easily turn it to the car door and place your child in it without straining your back. As soon as your child is big enough, it is possible to turn the sitting position from the backward-facing to the forward-facing sitting position in a matter of seconds. One movement is enough to switch between sitting and lying positions.

The Cybex Sirona SX2 can be used both forwards and backwards. Since the rearward-facing sitting position is the safest in the event of a frontal collision, children up to a height of 76 cm (corresponds to approx. 15 months) must sit in this position.

Even in the forward-facing sitting position, the Cybex child seat provides reliable protection thanks to the energy reduction technology. The acting forces are passed on via the belt system and thus partially reduced. The forces acting on the neck area of your child are reduced by approx. 20%.
Simple use in everyday life
From installation to buckling up your child, all functions of the Cybex child seat are well thought out and allow you to use it easily in everyday life. The integrated indicators show you the correct installation. The base can be locked into the Isofix device with one click. To make it easier for you to lift your child in the seat, the belts can be put aside using the practical belt holder. If your child is tired, the reboarder can be adjusted from the sitting to the sleeping position with one hand.
