The ideology of Emmaljunga

Die-Ideologie-von-Emmaljunga-600pxVvZRv8fWOCQsn

The Swedish manufacturer Emmaljunga has been making strollers of the highest quality and safety since 1925. Almost 100 years of experience and continuous development have paid off. The models have changed over the years and have moved with the times. Emmaljunga strollers are manufactured with the highest demands on the materials and are subject to continuous quality controls. The specially developed quality fabrics not only withstand sun, wind and cold, but are also particularly dirt and water-repellent. The demands on the safety of the strollers are also very high and every stroller that leaves the factory is tested beforehand in accordance with EN 1888: 2018 and EN 1466: 2014.

Safety is clearly the top priority at Emmaljunga, but sustainability also plays an important role. The strollers are designed so that they can still be used for a sibling, because the manufacturer is convinced that you only need one stroller for several siblings. All parts can be easily exchanged and renewed. Durable materials from sustainable production are used. The manufacturer is proud of its valuable work and writes on its website: “As the owner of an Emmaljunga, you can be proud. Proud that your stroller is made under the best conditions. Proud that Emmaljunga takes responsibility for the environment. Your Emmaljunga is made for you, with consideration for the next generation. " Production takes place exclusively in Sweden and not outsourced to large production countries such as China. This means that full control over quality and safety remains firmly in the hands of the manufacturer.

The Emmaljunga plant is also state-of-the-art. Electricity generated from hydropower, a closed water treatment system and, most recently, 1500 m2 of solar cells on the roof of the factory.

A manufacturer with tradition who is not satisfied with what has already been achieved, but strives for constant progress and improvement. So you decide with a good feeling for a stroller that has been developed with passion and that will accompany you for a long time.

NXT Classic and Select - the two current model lines

Classic-600px-400px

In the Classic version everything is preconfigured and the NXT90 is offered as a complete package consisting of a frame, bathtub and ergo seat. A complete pram for one child or two children. In the Classic Line, features such as a removable and washable inner paneling of the tub and the insect net were dispensed with in favor of a cheaper offer. The NXT90 Classic is equipped with a black frame and black Ecco Solight wheels, similar to the Black frame from the 2020/21 model year. The carrycot handle, the push handle and the belly bar are made of black foam rubber. The colors navy, black, olive and beige also have black accents in the design.

Select-600px-400px

In the Select line you will find the NXT equipped with more features than in the Classic line. The inlay of the bathtub can be removed and washed with a zipper, the frame is supplied with the matching insect net for the seat or bathtub. Functional innovations are the floating suspension suspension and the new Easyfix 3.0 for simple and stable seat and cot anchoring. In addition, you not only have the choice between Ergo or Flat seats, you can also combine the different colors and frames according to your ideas. There are the outdoor colors navy, black, olive and beige combined with brown highlights and the lounge colors navy, gray, black and white with black accents. You can combine three different frame colors, all of which are equipped with the flat-less Ecco Solight wheels (gray-walled with profile or classic whitewall design).

NXT - What do the numbers and letters in the name mean?

Depending on the model, the NXT has numbers (90 or 60), letters (F) or additional designations (Twin) in the name. Confusing? Not really! The numbers 90 and 60 indicate the frame and wheel size of the model, with the 90s forming the larger frame with the larger wheels. The NXT strollers with an F in their name have a flat seat that can be adjusted to lie completely flat. The NXT strollers without an additional letter in their name have an ergo seat that can be adjusted to various ergonomic sitting and resting positions. With “Twin” the NXT becomes a stroller for siblings or twins.

NXT for a child

An NXT as a pram has a lot to offer your baby and toddler. Regardless of whether you opt for the spacious and flat adjustable seat unit or for the light and ergonomic seat unit, you can place it on the frame in or against the direction of travel. Regardless of whether you opt for the large NXT90 frame or the smaller NXT60 frame, the seat and bed units remain the same size. The extendable hood with ventilation option, an insect net and UV protection and the telescopic push handle with articulated joint ensure a comfortable ride for children and parents.

NXT90F-400px

NXT 90 F

The NXT90F is a popular combination stroller for families who want to let their child sleep flat in the seat unit, but do not want to do without a compact, foldable frame.

NXT90-400px

NXT 90

In the Ergo seat unit of the NXT90, your child sits and lies comfortably and without straining your back, and you save space when storing or stowing it in the trunk.

NXT60-F-400px

NXT 60 F

The NXT60F combines the large flat seat with a light but stable NXT frame. Full comfort for the child and yet agile and nimble in narrow streets and when shopping.

NXT60-400px

NXT 60

The small, stable NXT frame in conjunction with the Ergo seat unit is the ultimate compact stroller for the city, small apartments and little space in the trunk.

Classic-400px

NXT90 Classic

The reduced, complete and compact pram model: A classic NXT90 frame in four selected color designs with a cot and ergo seat.

NXT for two children

Twin-400px

The only difference between the NXT for siblings or twins is essentially the frame from the mono models. Because even if both children are lying or sitting next to each other here, they have as much space as any other child lying in an NXT90 or NXT60 because the seats and tubs have the same dimensions. The curved push handle of the frame makes this possible. The design is modern and ergonomic at the same time and benefits children and parents alike.

Differences between the NXT Select frames

In the Select collection you can choose between two to three different frames. Two for the NXT Twin model and three for the NXT90 and NXT 60 models.

The frames differ in shape and folding size, but all frames are light, robust and stable and are made of low-carbon aluminum (Hydro REDUXA) with a 75% lower CO2 footprint than conventional aluminum frames.

The NXT 90 and NXT 60 frames have an improved suspension with the floating suspension. The folding mechanism has been simplified for all NXT frames and with the new Easyfix 3.0, the seat and bathtub units can now be clicked into the frame even more easily and securely.

The tires are different depending on the design and are available with or without a profile. But the tires always consist of flat-less Ecco® Solight wheels, which are environmentally friendly and completely recyclable.

All frames have a matching black lower basket made of fabric with reflective white seam strips. And it doesn't matter whether you have opted for a flat or ergo seat, the frames are always the same in the respective size.

Black-400px

Black frame: NXT 60, NXT 90 and NXT Twin

Almost all black - only the wheels have a whitewall stripe. The black frame with the black synthetic leather handle cover can be combined with any fabric design. The seats and tubs of the lounge fabrics with the black synthetic leather accents fit best here.

Black-out-400px

Outdoor frame: NXT 60, NXT 90 and NXT Twin

The outdoor frame has a black frame, profiled gray wall tires and a brown synthetic leather push handle. The brown accents made of synthetic leather can also be found in the matching outdoor designs of the seat and bathtub units.

Silver-400px

Nature silver frame: NXT 60 and NXT 90

Without color coating, completely natural - the matt silver frame is complemented with profiled gray wall tires and black synthetic leather on the push handle. Combine the lounge fabrics for an elegant or the outdoor fabrics for a sporty appearance.

Does the Emmaljunga fit in my car?

Passt-im-Auto-600px

Emmaljunga strollers are large strollers. It is therefore advisable to test them in the trunk of your car before buying them to see whether there is enough space for transport. However, the NXT model can be folded compactly. The size of the seat unit - Flat larger than Ergo - could determine whether your NXT fits in your car. Have a look at our shop in Kiel. In our customer parking lots we have the possibility to load different models into your car.

The NXT 90 frame (about 8.5 kg) folded flat requires about 94 x 59 x 31 cm space in the car with wheels and lower basket. The seat units are each approx. 105 long, whereby the Ergo seat unit (approx. 4 kg) can be folded up very flat and the flat seat unit (approx. 4 kg) is still approx. 30 cm high in the lying position. If the trunk is too small, the seat unit could also be strapped onto one of the car seats as a “passenger”. The NXT carrycot needs about 81 x 38 x 34 cm, for longer car journeys with more luggage you can fold the carrycot a little flatter.

When measuring, please make sure that there are always slopes and angles in the trunk that should not be measured. The dimensions of the NXT90 and NXT90 Classic are comparable. The NXT60 (about 7 kg) is about 10 cm shorter in length and about 10 cm lower in height. The NXT Twin frame (approx. 14 kg), on the other hand, is much wider (approx. 80 cm wide) and slightly higher when folded. For the twin frame, you should have an area of 1 x 1 m in the trunk, then there is usually space for the seats or tubs on it.
