Baby Garage experience with Bugaboo spare parts and repairs

Bugaboo strollers are generally sturdy and durable and can be whipped up for another child with the exchange of a few spare parts. Sometimes it is just enough to buy a cover in a different color and replace the handle covers to make the Bugaboo stroller look like new. Sometimes you need small spare parts and repairs to get the Bugaboo back on the road. Overall, you could also put together a completely new Bugaboo stroller from the respective spare parts.

We have the most common spare parts in stock. These include, for example, hose replacement sets for the older Donkey models, various handle covers for all models or convertible top struts and clamps for the various sunroofs, but also various functional parts (clamps, levers, buttons, ...) that are sometimes defective or can get lost.

We do not always have other spare parts in stock, such as seat or bassinet covers in many different colors or small parts that are rarely requested. We order these parts from Bugaboo as soon as you have placed an order with the appropriate color or when it is clear which spare part is needed for a repair. 

All spare parts that we offer are either directly interchangeable or are supplied by Bugaboo with assembly instructions. We have spare parts in stock in our workshop that you are not allowed to install yourself from Bugaboo or can request them from the manufacturer. 

So if you miss something with our Bugaboo spare parts or are not sure which spare parts are needed, we can advise you online and offline. Feel free to come directly to our specialist shop or give us a call to ask your questions. You can also send an email with information about the problem (which Bugaboo, serial number, spare part / defect, ...) and we will then contact you. To avoid waiting times in the store, you can also make an appointment in advance.

Baby Garage workshop - our service

While you can install or replace many Bugaboo spare parts yourself, you may not want to do it yourself. In this case, we can help in our workshop after making an appointment. Our workshop is manned two days a week.

Some repairs can be done quickly and you can take your stroller or car seat home with you the same day. Other repairs take a little longer because a spare part may still be missing, or because you brought the stroller outside of workshop hours or you can no longer pick it up on the same day, then we offer you a rental frame, a rental stroller or a rental car seat. This may not always be a Bugaboo model, but it definitely stays mobile!

We can carry out many different repairs in our workshop - some with special tools that are not found in most private toolboxes. But there are also repairs that we cannot carry out or are not allowed to carry out for safety reasons. The latter usually only affects car seats if, for example, there is a defect inside. In such cases, we will send your stroller or car seat to the respective manufacturer, who will then take care of the repair. During this time, too, you will receive the right rental goods from us so that you can organize your everyday life with children and family as usual.

We always ask you to make an appointment for our workshop. We are happy to clarify in advance in a personal conversation in the shop or on the phone which repairs should be carried out and whether a replacement stroller is needed for the time. This is of course also possible by email and it is also helpful if you send us meaningful photos or videos and the serial number of the affected stroller by email. In this way we can plan better and possibly reorder spare parts from the manufacturer and better coordinate the allocation of the loaned goods.

Baby Garage as a Bugaboo Service Center

Our workshop is also a Bugaboo Service Center. This means that we are authorized by Bugaboo to carry out repairs according to your specifications, for which other dealers might have to send the stroller in. This mainly applies to repairs outside of the warranty.

Bugaboo itself offers a so-called “2 + 1 year extra warranty” for its strollers. You can register your Bugaboo stroller with Bugaboo within 3 months of purchase and then, in addition to the statutory warranty, you will receive an extra year manufacturer's guarantee for the first-time buyer. We are happy to answer questions about this 2 + 1 year guarantee. For repair inquiries, please always state the date of purchase and whether the Bugaboo stroller is covered by the Bugaboo manufacturer's guarantee. In such cases we need the relevant documents (proof of purchase, photos / description of the defect, serial number).

However, there are minor and major problems that are not covered by the warranty or the Bugaboo manufacturer's guarantee, because they have arisen from willful damage, improper use or simply wear and tear. The Bugaboo Service Center is available for such cases. Here we can work as a workshop repair the Bugaboo strollers on behalf of and in the interests of Bugaboo.

In our online shop you will find many parts as a complete set of spare parts with installation instructions that you can easily replace or install yourself at home. Installation by our workshop is usually required for all other spare parts. There are suitable spare parts for all Bugaboo strollers. We also have suitable parts in stock for older models, especially Frog, Gecko, Cameleon or Bufallo, or you can ask the manufacturer for them at any time.
