Twin pram by Bugaboo: Donkey 5 Twin
The Donkey 5 combines practical functions with excellent quality. It can be used as a combination pram for one child, as a sibling pram for two children of different ages and as a twin pram. With the additionally available ride-on board, there is even room for a third child.
Even as a twin pushchair, the Donkey 5 is narrow and fits through any door with standard dimensions. Even narrow supermarket aisles are no problem. Thanks to the movable front wheels, the twin pushchair can even be manoeuvred comfortably with one hand.
The twin pushchair version offered includes the frame, two carrycots and two seat units. You can convert it in just a few steps and use it in the other versions as well. The Styled by Bugaboo version is available in different colours. We have compiled an overview for you below.
Special aspects of the Donkey 5 Twin
Narrow twin pushchair
With a narrow width of 74 cm, the Bugaboo Donkey 5 fits through all standard-sized doors. Trips into town and walks through narrow streets can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. Despite the narrow width, your children sit or lie next to each other and not in front of or behind each other as with other pushchairs.
Easy to store twin pushchair
Don't want to worry about your pram when shopping or travelling? The Donkey 5 offers two options. Firstly, it can be folded with the wheels and seat units/carrycot in place. This is particularly quick and the pushchair can even be stored upright. On the other hand, it can be compactly stored without wheels and seat or reclining units.
3 pushchairs in one
You can convert the Donkey 5 Twin into a sibling pushchair or combination pushchair (for one child) at any time in just a few easy steps. The twin version offered here already includes all the necessary components. This model is therefore also suitable if you want maximum flexibility in use.
Ergonomic comfort
The Donkey 5 is ergonomically designed. The lying surfaces are straight to support your child's healthy development. The height of the push bar can be adjusted to suit the height of the person pushing. Viewing and ventilation windows in the sun canopies and the carrycots ensure optimal ventilation.
Changes in the Donkey 5 compared to the Donkey 3
Higher seating and lying position
The Donkey 5's seat and carrycot have been raised. Your children are now 57 cm (seat units) and 51 cm (carrycot) off the ground. This means they are closer to you and not at exhaust height where they are exposed to harmful fumes.
Improved folding mechanism
The folding mechanism has been revised by Bugaboo. It is now even easier to use. So you can concentrate on the really important things in everyday life with children.
Ventilation windows for more air circulation
Ventilation windows are integrated into the carrycot. The circulation of air is improved. Older siblings can also walk next to the pushchair and at the same time maintain contact with their younger siblings.
Quick-click function of the 5-point harness
The 5-point harness is not only padded, but now also has a quick-click function. It can even be operated with one hand. Your children will not only sit comfortably, but also safely.
Easy attachment of accessories
Attachment points for accessories (e.g. for cup holders and ride-on board) are attached to the Donkey 5. They simplify the installation of accessories.
New design
The former silver frame of the Donkey 5 is now graphite coloured. The wind cover of the carrycot has a seamless design and the Bugaboo logo is embroidered.
The Donkey 5 Styled by Bugaboo
The design of the Donkey 5 is classic and modern.
The Styled by Bugaboo variant is colour-coordinated by Bugaboo. The covers and the sun canopies are designed in a uniform colour. You would like to choose the colour of the canopies in contrast to the covers? This is possible in the Styled by You variant.

Donkey 5: Mottled grey
In this design the frame is in graphite, the handles are black and the hubcaps are white. The covers for the seat units, the carrycot and the side basket are mottled grey. The sun canopies are also mottled grey.
Donkey 5: Midnight black
This design includes a black frame with black handles and matt black hubcaps. The covers of the seat units, the carrycot, the side basket and the sun canopy are midnight black.
Bugaboo Donkey 5: Storm blue
In this design the frame is graphite with black handles and white hubcaps. The covers of the seat units, the carrycot, the side basket and the sun canopies are storm blue.
Donkey 5: Forest green
The frame is black and has black handles with matt black hubcaps. The covers for the seat units, the carrycot and the side basket are forest green. The sun canopies are also forest green.
