The Sibling Pushchair from Bugaboo: Donkey 5 Duo
The Donkey Duo is ideal for families with children of different ages. It offers space for up to two children. With an additionally available ride-on board, even a third child can be transported. Are you expecting your first child and planning another? Then the Donkey 5 sibling pushchair is also suitable for you. First, you can use it as a combination pram for your first child. You benefit from extra storage space in the form of a side basket. As soon as your second child is born, the Donkey 5 can be converted into a sibling pushchair with just a few clicks. Your children will not sit on top of each other or behind each other, but side by side and can explore the world together.
In the "Styled by Bugaboo" version offered here, you can choose from various colour-coordinated sets put together by Bugaboo. Would you like to set colourful accents? In the "Style by You" version, you can choose the colour of the sun canopies individually.
What is special about the Donkey 5 sibling pushchair?
The Donkey 5 has the usual high quality of Bugaboo pushchairs. It convinces with well thought-out functions and high-quality materials.
Discover the world side by side
In the Donkey 5 your children sit next to each other and not behind or on top of each other as in other pushchairs. This means you can see both children at the same time. You can also see your children, which gives young children in particular a feeling of safety and security. A viewing and ventilation window allows you to see your children even with the sun canopy open.
Narrower than expected
The Donkey 5 also fits as a sibling pushchair through all doors with standard dimensions. The movable front wheels make it very manoeuvrable and it can even be pushed with one hand. Nevertheless, your children sit comfortably and have enough space to unfold.
Pushchair with small pack size
The Bugaboo sibling pushchair can be folded in two ways. In a few easy steps it is folded with wheels and seat or reclining units and can even be stored standing up. If the wheels and seat and reclining units are removed, the pushchair can be stored very compactly.
Excellent comfort for your children
The Donkey 5 offers the best possible comfort for your children. The shoulder straps are padded and the seat unit can be adjusted from a sitting to a reclining position in 3 steps. The large sun canopy can be extended with a zip to protect your child from the sun and prying eyes.
Differences between the Donkey 5 Duo and the Donkey 3 Duo
Raised seat unit and carrycot
The seat unit and carrycot have been raised. The seat unit is now 57 cm from the floor and the carrycot 51 cm. Your children are now even closer to you and can be lifted into and out of the pram more easily.
Simplified folding mechanism
The folding mechanism is now even easier to use. The buttons are located further up on the push handle and are therefore easier to reach. This makes folding the pushchair even quicker and more intuitive.
Carrycot with ventilation window
A ventilation window is built into the carrycot. On warm summer days the air circulation is improved and your child can already explore the world from the carrycot. The window can be closed windproof in cold weather.
Revised closing function
The 5-point harness is even easier to use thanks to the quick-click function. It can be opened with one hand. The shoulder straps are padded. Your child sits securely and will hardly feel the belt.
Integrated attachment points
The cup holder and the ride-on board (optional accessories) are now even easier to attach and detach. There are integrated attachment points on the frame of the Bugaboo 5 for this purpose.
New design
The design of the Donkey 5 has been adapted. The Bugaboo logo is now embroidered and the wind cover of the carrycot is seamless. The previously silver-coloured frame is now available in graphit. The hand strap has also been revised.
