The Duo combination unit is used from birth. Initially without a harness system and headrest, but with a mattress and later without a mattress and with a 5-point harness and the padded harness guide with headrest. It is not possible to remove and wash the carrycot/seat cover. The insert for the Duo Combi unit is a good way to protect the actual recliner/seat cover.
