The BeSafe iZi Transfer sling fits the child like a cocoon and yet leaves enough room to place the baby from home or from the carrycot in the iZi Transfer directly into the infant car seat or the reboarder permanently installed in the car from birth (e.g. iZi Twist or iZi Turn). Small babies in particular like a snug fit and feel secure in it. The child can be placed in the iZi Transfer at home and with the safety belt fastened in the iZi Transfer, the child can then be placed in the pushchair or carried to the car. Padding in the head/upper body area provides comfort and support for the head, neck and back. The iZi Transfer reaches approximately to the base of the baby's legs so that the child can also be strapped into standard infant carriers with a 5-point harness or Y-belt without any problems. The iZi Transfer is made of a robust and sturdy, yet thin and breathable fabric that is not bulky in the infant car seat and does not hinder fastening with the infant car seat belt. When being carried, the child is held in a stable, natural position and the carrying handles are soft and comfortable to hold, even with the baby's weight. With the iZi Transfer, it is easier and safer to carry the child than without any aids and with only supporting hands under the head and body. "From car to home in just one nap" is a fitting and summarising description by the manufacturer. Transfer made easy The iZi Transfer was developed in collaboration with test families and physiotherapists and was subjected to crash tests at accident speeds of 64 km/h, material tests and load tests for carrycots. The result is a TÜV safety rating, GS certification and a baby carrier that adapts to the baby's natural shape and provides comfort and ergonomic support thanks to the padding in the head area. The padding and material are based on the requirements for breathable mattresses. This makes it easy to transfer your child from the bath or at home to the car seat - or vice versa - without disturbing their sleep. The fabric fits easily into the carrycot or surrounds the baby securely in the bath. The child is strapped into the iZi Transfer using an X-shaped belt system that does not get in the way of the seat belts in the infant car seat. The iZi Transfer is therefore a useful aid for many everyday situations in the first six months with your baby, with this sling the child is always in the right position to put it in the car seat, without changing position in the arm when lifting it out of the carrycot and changing to the car seat.
