Why should I choose the cocoon? The Joolz Hub / Hub + Kokon is the ideal solution for baby carriers who, in case of doubt, want to let the child sleep safely in a tub. Or for parents who like to travel a lot and need a quick and compact foldable pram. With the cocoon / footmuff, the Hub + offers a lying unit in which the baby can lie safely and securely and which can be used in parts for up to about one and a half years. The Hub footmuff / cocoon offers a flat and ergonomic lying position for the newborn and from around 6 months, when the toddler starts to sit, a wind and weather protection for the sitting child. The cocoon footmuff warms and protects against low temperatures, but can also be used in spring and summer, as there is a ventilation opening in the foot area to regulate the temperature. Its light weight is hardly noticeable and ideally complements the Joolz Hub + with the combi stroller and gives the baby a feeling of security and security. What can the Hub / Hub + Cocoon / Footmuff do? The Hub / Hub + footmuff (cocoon) consists of a foot cover, a mattress and a mattress holder and can be used from birth to approx. 18 months. Since the foot cover is pulled over the legrest of the Hub / Hub +, the children will bump into the front with their shoes at some point, which limits the usage time to approx. 18 months depending on the child's growth. Depending on the age and size of the child, the complete cocoon is recommended up to approx. 6 months and only the foot cover / wind cover until the child is approx. 18 months old. In order to position the mattress and the mattress holder securely on the flat seat unit, both cocoon parts have corresponding openings for the straps. Since the cocoon footmuff is not a bathtub with a high rim, the child is strapped in with the 5-point belt of the seat unit while lying down. Magnets are incorporated into the wind cover, which keep the upper part of the cover open when necessary. With the extendable canopy of the seat unit and the cocoon, the baby is protected from wind and weather. The Hub / Hub + Kokon is ergonomic and stable enough to be used as a tub replacement for newborns, but soft and flexible enough to be used together with the Joolz Hub compactly for e.g. to be able to fold a trunk. The Hub / Hub + footmuff can also be used in summer, as a ventilation opening is integrated in the foot area to automatically regulate the temperature in the cocoon / footmuff.
