With the adapter for infant car seats, the car seat can be transferred from the car to the Talos S or Balios S in just a few simple steps. This is particularly practical and helpful if, for example, the baby has just fallen asleep in the infant car seat in the car and you just want to make a quick trip to the shops, or for the short journey from the car park to the doctor or home. Then you simply assemble the Talos S or Balios S frame, attach the adapters instead of the carrycot or seat unit and then the Group 0 car seat and the baby in it can simply be clicked onto the pushchair frame. You should always bear in mind that the child should only spend a limited amount of time per day in the infant car seat and that transferring the child to the pushchair's reclining unit is always more back-friendly for the baby. Compatibility and scope of delivery Cybex has only approved this adapter for Cybex infant car seats on the Talos S and Balios S pushchairs. The compatibility of all other infant car seats has not been tested. As the attachment mechanism is the same for infant car seats from BeSafe, Joie and other manufacturers, these could also fit. The respective external dimensions of the Group 0 seats, i.e. the width of the shell and the dimensions of the adapter mount, play a role here. Depending on the infant car seat design, the slots for the adapters and the dimensions of the infant car seat may be wider or narrower, preventing them from clicking onto the adapter correctly. Before buying the adapter or choosing an infant car seat, we recommend that you find out about the compatibility of all baby car seats that are not from the Cybex range and try it out for yourself in a shop.
