Solution Z i-Fix
The Solution Z i-Fix child seat is a safe and comfortable child seat for the child who should sit in it and also for the adult who should install the seat in the car. Due to the simple handling, the installation with Isofix and the possible one-handed size adjustment of the backrest, the seat can be installed quickly and easily in the vehicle and adapted to the space requirements of the child.
The child sits comfortably in the soft cushions of the seat cover, under which an air circulation system is hidden so that the seat stays pleasantly cool even on hot days. The belt guide of the 3-point belt, with which the child is buckled in the seat, is automatically adjusted by adjusting the height and width.
This means that not only is the belt always in the right place, but also the head is always in the protected area. If the child wants to sleep in the car, the angle of inclination can be adjusted within the headrest so that the head does not tip forward so quickly while sleeping. The optimized linear side impact protection with additional protectors and an energy-absorbing shell ensures safety.
Functions in detail
The Solution Z i-Fix has a number of useful and safety-promoting functions and properties. For example, the tilt-adjustable headrest reduces the risk of a sleeping child's head tipping forward, because the child can tilt their head backwards to fall asleep. In this way, the head remains in the protected safety area for the head even in the event of a side impact.
With the automatic height and width adjustment, which can be operated with one hand, the backrest, including the headrest and shoulder protectors, can be adjusted to the child's upper body size in 12 stages and thus grows with the child. The air circulation system integrated in the seat is designed to prevent excessive sweating in summer.
The linear side impact protection (L.S.P. system) has been improved and, together with the energy-absorbing shell, can neutralize around a quarter of the forces that can act on the seat in the event of a side impact. The safety cushions developed by Cybex, which are incorporated into the headrest, protect the sensitive head in particular in the event of a side impact.
When this child seat was approved, the latest UN R129 / 03 safety standards were certified, which primarily require stricter guidelines and tests for side impacts. In general, safety is also increased by using the Isofix when installing it in the car. The depth-adjustable Isofix system and the adjustable backrest allow easy installation on any car seat.
