Aton M baby seat (2021)
The Cybex Aton M from model year 2021 is a group 0+ child seat (approved according to UN R44 / 04), i.e. a baby seat for children from birth up to 13 kg or up to approx. 24 months. In addition to the maximum weight, the decisive factor for the duration of use is that the child still fits into the baby seat in the head and shoulder area.
The Aton M has a low weight, a removable newborn insert and a belt system that grows automatically with the headrest. The insert creates the flattest possible reclining angle for the newborn and when the baby grows, the insert is removed so that the growing child can slide deeper into the shell.
Together with the L.S.P. System and the energy-absorbing shell in the Aton M baby shell. The XXL sun canopy also protects the baby from direct sunlight and also allows a screened area from prying eyes or the hustle and bustle of shopping when the child is taken in the baby seat.
Not only the headrest and the belt system with the soft belt pads grow with you, but also the Aton M as part of the M-Line modular system. From birth to a total of around four years old, Cybex combines safety standards with modular innovation.
Properties of the Aton M
L.S.P. System and energy-absorbing shell
Linear Side-Impact Protection picks up the force of a side impact at an early stage and systematically dissipates it via the shoulder and head protectors. The force of the impact is reduced and the head and shoulder protectors absorb the kinetic energy of the child in the shell to keep them in a safe, protected position. The L.S.P. System protected in the safety zone of the baby seat.
These newly developed side protectors are supported by the shell construction. The material of the baby seat is made of an energy-absorbing material that additionally absorbs the impact forces, deflects it from the child and surrounds the baby protectively.
Removable newborn insert
The extra padded newborn insert on the side gives the little ones support and stability in the Aton M shell. It creates a flat reclining angle. Ideal for small babies. As the child grows and needs more space, this insert can be removed.
11-fold height adjustment and extra wide straps
The headrest can be adjusted eleven times and grows step by step with the child. Make sure that the child's head is always in the protected area and that the headrest is about 1-2 finger-widths away from the child's shoulder.
The Y-belt system is coupled to the headrest and automatically grows with the correct size adjustment. This system ensures optimal sitting behavior, maximum safety and a long service life that adapts to the space requirements of the child.
The belt straps are extra wide and have soft belt and buckle padding so that the necessary buckling up for the child in the Aton M is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Integrated XXL sun canopy
The integrated XXL convertible roof offers USF50 + sun protection. One can prefer it far and thus isolate the child from direct sunlight. With the open top, a relaxation room can also be created when the child is to sleep or to protect them from prying eyes. The hood can be adjusted independently of the handle.
M-Line modular system and travel system
This modular system consists of an Isofix base station (Base M), the Aton M or the Aton M i-Size and the additional Sirona M2 i-Size. In total, the baby can be transported in the car for up to four years. The Base M and the Sirona M2 i-Size can be purchased separately.
The Aton M can be clicked safely, easily and quickly onto the Base M, which is installed in the car with Isofix. The baby seat is placed backwards on the Base M and meets all requirements for intuitive handling, the well-being of the child and the latest safety criteria.
The Aton M is the interface between car seats and strollers because, in addition to its main function as a car seat, it can also be placed on all Cybex strollers. This turns your stroller into a practical travel system for smaller trips and longer trips.
