With the twin adapter, two infant car seats are always clicked onto the Donkey at the same time. With the twin adapter, it is not possible to use only one of the two adapter sides. The one-piece twin adapter can be pulled apart and folded, but both sides are connected by a strap. When folded, the adapter can also be stowed in the Donkey's undercarriage storage area where it is easy to reach. If you have children of different ages or if one child is still in the carrycot and the other is to be placed in the car seat on the Donkey, then you must use the mono version of the adapter for the duo configuration of the Donkey. The choice of infant car seats for this Twin adapter for Maxi Cosi & Co is more limited than for the Mono version. As not all infant car seats are the same width, some models do not fit next to each other on the Twin adapter. It makes no difference whether you use the Donkey for just one child as a mono pushchair or whether you want to push two children of different ages and development stages in the duo configuration of the Donkey (sibling version). With the Mono adapter, either the side carrier or another seat or reclining unit can be placed on the Donkey Mono or Duo in addition to the infant car seat. If you want to transport two children in two infant car seats on the Donkey at the same time, you will need the Twin adapter.
