The basis for your individual Donkey3
The Bugaboo Donkey3 Base is a part of the Donkey3 Mono from the Core Collection and can be styled by you. For a complete Donkey3 Mono you still need the Donkey3 Style Set and the Donkey3 Sunroof. The Donkey3 Mono is the starting point for the expansion to Duo and Twin.
The basic package includes the frame in aluminium with white hubcaps or in black with matt black hubcaps, together with the matching colour seat/carrycot frame, wheels, rotating handle, pre-assembled black handles, a set of canopy struts and clamps, the base of the carrycot and the rain cover.
The content of the Donkey3 basic package does not match that of Donkey2, so compatibility is limited. The handles and hubcaps are not compatible with the previous model Donkey2 due to their modified shape.

The sun canopy with ventilation windows for the Bugaboo Donkey provides your child with additional shade on sunny days. It has a sun protection factor (SPF) of 50+. The ventilation windows are made of fine mesh fabric and allow an additional fresh breeze into the pushchair on warm days to ensure optimum air circulation. Thanks to its innovative design, the Bugaboo Donkey sun canopy can be adjusted at any time to provide your child with optimum shade or to shield them from a summer rain shower. A perfect addition for the summer months or for giants travelling to warm countries and regions. The sun canopy with ventilation windows fits all Donkey models. The Breezy sun canopy is pulled over the canopy struts and can then be attached to any Donkey using the canopy clamps - regardless of whether the child is lying in the carrycot or sitting in the seat. The canopy struts and clamps can be taken from your normal Donkey canopy. Of course, you can also buy the sun canopy struts and clamps as a set. If you only want to change the soft top infrequently, for example if you switch to the sunroof with ventilation window at the beginning of the summer and switch back to the fixed soft top in the autumn, then a second set is not absolutely necessary, as you then take about 5 minutes twice a year to change the struts and clamps. However, if you want to change them every day, you can save yourself the trouble of replacing them with a second set. This means you can use the airy soft top during the day and still have the standard soft top to hand for the cooler evening hours. With a second set of struts and a second set of clamps, both soft top variants can be used at any time and replacement only takes a few seconds. The side mesh windows not only have a ventilation function, they also allow you to watch your child even when the canopy is fully extended. The sun canopy can completely shield your child from the sun's rays. If the canopy is fully extended, a UV net can be pulled over the foot end. So that the child can also look out to the front, there is a zip window in the canopy that can be rolled up like a roller shutter to give the child a clear view outside.
