The Donkey 5 Twin prepares you perfectly for twins and adapts to your changing needs without any problems. When your twins are still small, you can place the two carrycots on your Donkey 5. As soon as they get too big, you can swap the two carrycots for the seat units. If you are travelling with just one of your children, you can also remove one seat unit and use the Donkey 5 as a mono pushchair. Thanks to its outstanding quality and clever functions, you can use the Donkey 5 Twin for years to come. For example, if an older sibling or one of your twins wants to ride along standing up, you can simply purchase and install the ride-on board. The scope of delivery includes a frame, two seat frames with matching covers and two carrycots, also with matching covers. You will also receive two rain covers, an under basket and a side basket.
The new features of the Donkey 5
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 impresses with numerous innovations that significantly improve comfort and suitability for everyday use. The raised sitting (57 cm) and reclining position (51 cm) makes handling easier and protects the back when lifting children. The optimised air circulation in the carrycot ensures a pleasant climate thanks to a light and air-permeable mesh insert - also ideal for contact with siblings. The revised folding mechanism enables even more intuitive and faster stowage. Additional integrated attachment points make it easier to attach accessories such as cup holders or a travelling board. The new 5-point harness with practical quick-click function can be operated with one hand and ensures a secure hold. The Donkey 5 is rounded off by a refined, calmer design with embroidered logo, revised wrist strap and seamless wind cover.

You can have your Bugaboo pushchair repaired at any time in our shop in Schwentinental - even if your warranty has already expired. Repairs are carried out according to the Bugaboo standard. If they take longer, we can offer you a loan pushchair to tide you over. You can also visit us in our shop, call us or send us an e-mail if you have any other concerns or questions about the warranty. For example, we also have a large selection of spare parts in our range. If you need a specific part but can't find it, we can request the part from the manufacturer for you.
Bugaboo provides a two-year warranty when you purchase a pushchair. If you register your pushchair with Bugaboo within three months of purchase, you will receive a further two-year warranty. To do this, you must provide proof of purchase, your serial number and your personal details.

Maximum comfort
The carrycots and seat units are ergonomic and promote the healthy development of your children. The Peekaboo window in the sun canopy allows you to keep an eye on your children at all times and communicate with them. If they prefer to sleep, the sun canopies can also be extended with a zip so that your twins can sleep in the dark. The push handle is height-adjustable for your comfort.
Flexibility for the future
As soon as your twins get bigger, you can use the seat units supplied instead of the carrycots. This means you are also ideally equipped for future additions to the family. If one of your twins or a sibling wants to travel standing up, you can purchase and install the travelling board.
Equipped for any surface
The non-flat PE wheels, which are suitable for any terrain, ensure a puncture-free trip. The manoeuvrable front wheels ensure a tight turning circle on flat ground. You can lock the front wheels for travelling in forests and meadows. If you use two seat units, you can pull the Donkey 5 behind you in two-wheel mode to overcome snow, gravel and sand.
Compact folding size
You can fold the Donkey 5 very small by removing the carrycot, seat units, side basket and wheels. This may be necessary when travelling by plane, for example. Otherwise, the Donkey can be stowed upright when assembled or folded together with the seats.
Matching accessories
With the double adapter for Group 0 car seats from Maxi Cosi, Cybex BeSafe and other manufacturers, you are always mobile and can place the car seats directly from the car onto the Donkey and push away. Practical when the children have just fallen asleep or you just want to go to the doctor or the bakery. Thanks to the click-and-go system, the infant car seats can be attached to the frame quickly and securely in just a few simple steps. The twin adapter ensures a secure connection between two infant car seats from Besafe, Cybex, Maxi Cosi and other brands. With the twin adapter, two infant car seats are always clicked onto the Donkey at the same time. With the twin adapter, it is not possible to use only one of the two adapter sides. The one-piece twin adapter can be pulled apart and folded, but both sides are connected by a strap. When folded, the adapter can also be stowed in the Donkey's undercarriage storage area where it is easy to reach. If you have children of different ages or if one child is still in the carrycot and the other is to be placed in the car seat on the Donkey, then you must use the mono version of the adapter for the duo configuration of the Donkey. The choice of infant car seats for this Twin adapter for Maxi Cosi & Co is more limited than for the Mono version. As not all infant car seats are the same width, some models do not fit next to each other on the Twin adapter. If you have Group 0 car seats from different manufacturers that both have the so-called MaxiCosi adapter, you should test whether they both fit together on the twin adapter before ordering.
