The i-Base Advance base station

The Isofix base i-Base Advance is the basis for the Joie modular system for the i-Venture R child seat. The i-Gemm 2 or i-Snug baby seats can be securely attached to the i-Size standard in the car and after they have been used the following seat i-Venture R can be used on the same base.

Why should you buy an additional Isofix base? Isn't it enough to fasten the child seat with the vehicle seat belt of the car? On the one hand, the i-Venture R child seat can only be installed in the car with the Isofix base - you will need this base in any case - and on the other hand, the use of the Isofix station has several advantages in terms of safety and comfort compared to using the vehicle belt the baby seats.

Security benefits

Buckling up the baby seat requires concentration and accuracy so that the seat is in the right position, the belt is positioned correctly and the belts are always taut. If you have to move quickly, your thoughts are elsewhere or are distracted by the child and other road users, mistakes can be made here. Such operating errors can be avoided by using the i-Base Advance. The base is correctly attached in the car with Isofix and support foot and then you only have to click the baby seat in or out. Corresponding indicators show whether the base is correctly installed.

By using the Isofix base, the impact forces are reduced in the event of an accident. Both the rebound bar (rebound bar) and the support foot and the base itself play an energy-absorbing role. Potential deformation zones are incorporated into the i-Base Advance to divert the forces of the accident away from the baby seat or child seat.

Installing the Isofix base in the car and placing the seat on the base is quick and intuitive. There are also safety indicators for the correct engagement of the baby seat or child seat on the base. With one hand you can operate the quick release mechanism for the baby seat or adjust the angle of inclination of the child seat.

You no longer have to bend into the car to fasten the baby seat with the belt. This saves time and energy, especially when everyday family life is a bit more hectic. You can also click in the empty baby seat and buckle up the child in it later if you don't want to lift the baby seat and the child is car at the same time.
